ClamVision supports operations with multiple dredges, survey boats, and shore-based project management working from a shared project simultaneously.
Relay Server architecture
A ClamVision Relay Server acts as a central hub for a multi-vessel spread. Each dredge running ClamVision connects to the relay server and shares its live data:
- Real-time bite transmission — bites recorded on any dredge appear immediately on every connected screen
- Design and surface synchronization — when the project manager pushes an updated design surface, all vessels receive it automatically
- Graphics file distribution — DXF files, satellite imagery, and survey data can be shared from the office to all vessels without manual file transfer
- Position sharing — all vessels see each other’s live position on the plan view
Peer-to-peer operation
For smaller spreads or situations where a dedicated server is not available, ClamVision supports peer-to-peer connection between two ClamVision instances. A portable office laptop can connect directly to a dredge and receive live bites without a central server.
DredgeHQ cloud integration
ClamVision integrates with DredgeHQ, a cloud-based fleet management platform. Project data, production metrics, and operational status flow automatically to DredgeHQ where project managers can monitor the entire fleet from a web browser without being on site.
